Music Monday: Rotation Records on DeKalb Street

Posted By: Unknown - 6:00 AM
This week's Music Monday spotlight will feature a state-of-the art recording studio located right here in Norristown. Rotation Records is located at 1728 DeKalb Street, Suite B in the Northern part of town. With Norristown being an arts community, a company like Rotation Records is important so artists can have a way to create their music and pursue their dreams.

Rotation Records has been established almost two years in the community. They are a full service record company and much more... Under the Rotation Records Company, there are three sub-companies: Rotation Education, Rotation Kids, and Rotation Studios.

  • Rotation Studios - Recording, production, song writing, live shows (audio & Lighting), contracts
  • Rotation kids- Vocal classes and lessons (Group & one on one), song writing classes, birthday parties( in studio & remote) summer camps.
  • Rotation Education - As their company grew and developed, Rotation Education gained a close relationship with NASD and other surrounding area school districts. Activites include guest speaking, career day, dances and events.

What sets them apart is not only their passion for music, but providing education for kids. At the end of last Summer, they were recognized for
providing 200 seriously ill children from the Ronald McDonald House a place to record and feel like a true artist. Think of what they did as a Make-A-Wish on a Norristown level.

The video above gives you a quick tour of their studio and the services they provide.
Also, check out this positive rap from one of their artist, Scott C.

So for this 'Music Monday,' your homework assignment is to check out their website, like them on Facebook, and spread the word about their business. Let's make Norristown a place for artists to go to produce their music!
